Complaints and Content Removal
Anyone can use this policy, whether or not you use Cherry and without logging in. Use it to report content you believe is illegal, shows a real person, was made or shared without consent, or breaks our Acceptable Use Policy, or to make any other complaint about Cherry.
To report content or make a complaint, email support@cherryshows.com. If you think a child is at risk, also contact the police or the NCMEC CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org) straight away.
1. What to include
- The link (URL) to the content, or where you saw it: a post, a comment, a photo in a conversation or a Telegram message. A screenshot helps.
- What is wrong with it. For example: it shows you or another real person, it is an intimate image shared without consent, it depicts or suggests a minor, it infringes your rights, or it breaks our rules.
- How we can reach you. You can report anonymously, but then we can’t tell you the outcome.
- If you are reporting on someone else’s behalf, your relationship to them, for example as their lawyer or authorised representative.
2. What we do and when
- Acknowledgement: we confirm we have received your complaint, normally within 1 business day.
- Content that may be illegal, or depicts a minor: removed immediately, and reported to the authorities and, where required, to our payment processor.
- Content reported as showing a real person, or as an intimate image made or shared without consent: taken down while we review it, and in any case within 48 hours of a valid request, along with any copies we know of.
- Every complaint: reviewed by a person, and resolved within 5 business days. We tell you what we found and what we did.
- If content breaks our rules, we remove it, and may block the request that created it and close the account involved.
Posts on character profiles are reviewed by our team before they are published. Members can’t upload photos or videos. Reports help us find anything that breaks our rules.
3. If you are shown in content
Cherry’s characters are fictional adults, not real people. If you believe content shows you, or looks like you, you can ask us to remove it. We will remove it unless we can show that it doesn’t depict you, and we will never ask you to prove a negative. If we disagree with your request, you can appeal (section 4), and if we still disagree, the dispute goes to an independent, neutral body for decision, at our cost.
4. Appeals
- If your report was declined: reply to our decision email, or email support@cherryshows.com with “Appeal” in the subject, within 30 days. A different member of our team reviews the appeal and replies within 5 business days.
- If your content or account was actioned: for example a comment was removed or your access was limited, you can appeal the same way.
- Neutral review: if you are depicted in content and still disagree after an appeal, we refer the dispute to an independent, neutral body, at our cost, and the content stays down until it decides.
5. Other complaints
- Billing: when paid plans launch, contact support@cherryshows.com or cs.segpay.com or support.ccbill.com for billing questions and refunds. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- Privacy: email support@cherryshows.com. See our Privacy Policy.
- Copyright: email support@cherryshows.com with the content, the work you own and your contact details.
- The service itself: email support@cherryshows.com.
6. Records
We keep a record of every complaint, what we did and when, so we can show how it was handled and report to our payment processor as its rules require. We don’t share your identity with the person you reported.
